Airfi Multisensor

Airfi Multisensor automatically boosts ventilation based on indoor air conditions. The Multisensor is available as an accessory and compatible with all Airfi air handling units (AHUs) manufactured from 2026 onwards.

Humidity measurement

The humidity sensor continuously monitors indoor humidity levels and automatically boosts ventilation whenever required. This helps maintain a comfortable indoor environment while protecting building structures from excessive moisture. All Airfi air handling units come with a humidity sensor as standard.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement

The CO₂ sensor measures indoor carbon dioxide levels and controls ventilation according to occupancy. Ventilation is automatically boosted when more people are present, helping to maintain excellent indoor air quality and occupant comfort.

VOC Index

The VOC Index detects volatile organic compounds (VOCs) present in indoor air. It responds to changes in air quality by automatically boosting ventilation whenever needed. The sensor generates a VOC Index value ranging from 1 to 500, indicating the level of air pollution relative to previous indoor air conditions. A value of 100 represents the normal baseline. Rather than measuring the absolute concentration of VOCs, the VOC Index provides a relative indication of indoor air quality, making it an effective tool for ventilation control and indoor air quality assessment. The VOC Index responds rapidly to changes in indoor air quality, enabling timely ventilation boost.

100–150 Normal air quality
150–250 Elevated VOC load
250–400 High VOC load
>400 Very high VOC loads

The Multisensor automatically boosts ventilation whenever the threshold value of any monitored parameter is exceeded. The Air Handling Unit must be running software version 4.0 or later. Air handling units manufactured before August 2026 require a software update to support the Multisensor. Required controllers: Mille Wire/Wifi or Airfi App.
