This way, valuable heat doesn&#8217;t go to waste\u2014it\u2019s recycled back into the system, saving energy and reducing environmental impact. <br\/><br\/>Compared to systems with only mechanical exhaust or natural ventilation, heat recovery offers significant energy savings. That\u2019s why heat recovery air handling units are now mandatory in all new buildings in Finland. <br\/><br\/>Airfi\u2019s AI-powered AFPS\u2122 technology takes this even further. It optimizes the use of the heat recovery core based on weather conditions\u2014defrosting only when truly necessary. The energy for defrosting is taken directly from the exhaust air, making the system even more efficient.
